I play aggressive in this game by upgrading firepower before protection. I had played games(FPS and RTS mainly) with even more frustrating escort missions than this. By the way, I managed this mission on Captain and the first try of this version. I was surprised when the enemies had become less trigger happy and less accurate with their weapons especially their missiles. This mission is way easier than it was in the older version. The worst thing is i spent an hour frustrated and then i've to reload and choose the other option? thats terrible thing to do for immersion in the story. I bet you can still find frustration and failure doing that mission through bad luck. I appreciate your response but if you offer 2 missions and 1 is ludicrously difficult and the other is a lot easier, are you offering 2 choices? Or forcing people to choose one over the other. (and you'll have the Phoenix on your side) if you want to play the hero you're likely to face tougher odds than if you're just looking to save your own hide.
